Bienvenido
al Centro de Entrenamiento
La
Organización Mundial de Gastroenterología (WGO viene
desarrollando Centros de Entrenamiento (Training Centers) en
diferentes regiones del mundo con el objetivo de contribuir
a mejorar la educación y el entrenamiento en todos los
aspectos de la gastroenterología. En este sentido, el
Instituto de Gastroenterología Boliviano-Japonés de La
Paz, ha sido designado CENTRO DE
ENTRENAMIENTO EN GASTROENTEROLOGÍA Y ENDOSCOPIA DIGESTIVA PARA LATINO
AMÉRICA, y su misión consiste en organizar cursos de
capacitación en estas especialidades de la medicina, para
los médicos de la región.

Welcome to the
Training Center
The
World Gastroenterology Organization (WGO) comes developing Training Centers
in different regions of the world and its main goal is
contributing to improve the education and training in
all aspects of gastroenterology. By this means, the Bolivian
Japanese Institute of Gastroenterology at La Paz, (I.G.B.J.),
has been designated as a TRAINING CENTER OF GASTROENTEROLOGY
AND DIGESTIVE ENDOSCOPY FOR LATIN AMERICA, and its mission
consist on organizing training courses in these specialties
of the medicine, for medical proffesionals of the region.

Objetivos del Centro de Entrenamiento La Paz

Contribuir a mejorar aspectos asistenciales,
docentes y de investigación de las enfermedades digestivas en la región, a
través de programas anuales de capacitación.

Promover mecanismos de interacción entre especialistas internacionales y
regionales en los campos de la gastroenterología y la endoscopia digestiva.

En
el marco del Programa de
Capacitación en Tercer País (Third
Country Training Program), el
Gobierno del Japón, representado
por la Agencia de Cooperación
Internacional del Japón (JICA), y
el Gobierno de Bolivia,
representado por el Ministerio de
Salud, suscribieron un acuerdo de
cooperación mutua para brindar
apoyo al CURSO INTERNACIONAL DE
AVANCES EN GASTROENTEROLOGÍA Y
ENDOSCOPIA DIGESTIVA, organizado
por el Centro de Entrenamiento La
Paz, por un periodo de cinco
años. Este CURSO se realiza en
marzo de cada año, durante un
periodo de dos semanas como curso
grupal y con base en un programa
teórico-práctico dictado por
docentes del IGBJ y expertos
invitados de Sudamérica, Norte
América y Europa.

Este
CURSO está dirigido a la
capacitación "hands on"
y se lleva a cabo en dos periodos
anuales de cinco meses cada uno.
El primer periodo se desarrolla de
febrero a julio, y el segundo de
julio a diciembre de cada año. El
entrenamiento práctico individual
en técnicas de endoscopia
terapéutica es supervisado por
docentes del IGBJ y expertos

INTERNATIONAL
COURSE ON
ADVANCES IN GASTROENTEROLOGY AND
DIGESTIVE ENDOSCOPY
In the setting of the Third Country Training Program, the Government
of Japan represented by the
Japanese International Cooperation
Agency (JICA) and the Government
of Bolivia, through the Ministry
of Health, signed
an agreement of mutual cooperation
to support the INTERNATIONAL
COURSE
ON ADVANCES IN
GASTROENTEROLOGY AND
DIGESTIVE ENDOSCOPY, organized by La
Paz
Training Center, for a period of five years. This Course takes
place
on March
of every year, for
a period of two weeks as a group course with a theoretical-practical
program given by the IGBJ facultiee
and guest experts from South America, North America and Europe.
INDIVIDUAL INTERNATIONAL COURSE ON
THERAPEUTIC ENDOSCOPY
This
course is directed to a “hands
on” training and it is given in
two annual periods each one of
five months. The first period is
developed from February to July and the second
one
from July to December,
each year. The individual and practical training in
Therapeutic Endoscopy techniques is
supervised by
IGBJ facultiee
and international experts.
